lacrosse update that previews the day's matchups as well as recaps the

No.16/15 Albany looks to put an end to its
two-game losing streak when it heads out on the road for a difficult matchup at
No.17 Bucknell.

Danes could not overcome a three-goal halftime deficit in a loss to the
previously winless Marist Red Foxes.

Junior attack Joe Resetarits leads Albany with
16 points this season, while freshman attack Tyler Thompson has recorded 14

No.12/10 Stony Brook hopes to bounce back from a
disappointing home loss to No. 10/7 Cornell when it hosts Bryant at LaValle
Stadium.

In the loss, senior midfielder Kevin Crowley
recorded four points to become the leading scorer in Stony Brook history with 202
points. With two goals and two assists, Crowley broke the previous record of
201 points held by Jason Cappadoro.

with 46 ground balls and has won 89-of-128 face-offs.

Vermont looks to earn its second consecutive
victory when it makes a visit to Providence, R.I., for a matchup with Brown.

This will be the sixth meeting between the two
programs, with the Bears holding a 5-0 advantage in the series. When these
teams faced off in 2009, the Catamounts fell, 16-8, in Burlington, Vt.

Sophomore attack Drew Philie is coming off an
outstanding week in which he recorded seven goals and an assist in two games.
These exploits helped Philie earn America East Player of the Week honors.
Hartford at Wagner, 2 p.m.- Live Stats

Hartford looks to continue its best start since
2000 when it visits Wagner for its final game before the start of America East
play.

The Hawks have been excellent on the offensive
end throughout the year, averaging 10.38 goals-per-game, which is good for
second highest in America East.

On the defensive end, senior midfielder Tim
Fallon leads the nation with 9.25 ground balls-per-game, while senior defender
Conor Flynn ranks fourth in the country with 24 caused turnovers.

UMBC looks to put an end to its four-game losing
streak when it hosts Quinnipiac. This will be the first home game in the month
of March for the Retrievers, who have played four consecutive road games.

Junior attack/midfielder Rob Grimm leads the
Retrievers with 15 points, while sophomore attack Scott Jones has netted a
team-high eight goals.

ground balls-per-game, which ranks 22nd in the country.
