Wednesday, March 23
at Hartford 14, Sacred Heart 8 -- Box Score

  • Hartford (5-3) won its third straight home game and is off to its best start since 2000 when the Hawks began the season 8-0.
  • The Hawks outshot their opponents, 44-29, including 28-15 in shots on goal.
  • Hartford won 19-of-24 faceoffs and picked up 37 ground balls while Sacred Heart grabbed 26 ground balls.
  • Senior midfielder Tim Fallon led the Hawks, winning 17-of-22 faceoffs and picking up a game-high 11 ground balls.  
  • Junior midfielder Carter Bender led the Hawks with a game-high five points on four goals and an assist. The junior has now scored at least one point in each of his 34 games as a collegian.
  • Junior attack Rory Nunamacher posted four points on three goals and an assist while classmate Ryan Compitello scored two goals and dished out two assists for four points.

 

Tuesday, March 22

t Siena 10, Binghamton 3 -- Box Score

  • Binghamton saw its four-game winning streak come to an end with a tough 10-3 road loss at Siena.
  • Senior midfielder David Raleigh led the Bearcats with a team-high two goals in the loss. Freshman defender Greg Cove added a team-high five ground balls.
  • Junior midfielder Chris Cook won 9-of-17 face-offs, while junior defender Ben Waldron forced a game-high four turnovers.

 

#10/7 Cornell 17 at #12/10 Stony Brook 9 -- Box Score

  • No.12/10 Stony Brook fell to its second consecutive loss with a 17-9 setback against No. 10/7 Cornell.
  • Senior midfielder Kevin Crowley led the way with a team-high four points on two goals and two assists. With the four points, Crowley became the leading scorer in Stony Brook history.
  • Senior attack Tom Compitello netted a team-high three goals, while junior midfielder Russ Bonanno added two goals.

 

Marist 12, at #16/15 Albany 7 -- Box Score

  • No.16/15 Albany suffered its second consecutive defeat, as it fell 12-7 at home to intrastate rival Marist.
  • Senior attack/midfielder Matt Johnson led the Great Danes with a team-high four points on three goals and an assist.
  • Junior midfielder Keith Olson scooped up a team-high six ground balls and won 8-of-17 face-offs.
