gameday throughout the 2011 season, America East will provide a women's
lacrosse update that previews the day's matchups as well as recaps the
previous day's action. The update will also provide links to live
coverage, box scores and highlights of select games. Fans can also

Stony Brook at Marist, 3 p.m. -- Live Stats
- Stony Brook (2-3) looks to snap a two-game skid when it hits the road for a game against in-state rival Marist.
- Stony Brook's offense ranks 23rd in the nation averaging 13 goals per game through the first five games of the season. The Seawolves have been held in single digits only once in a 15-8 loss against Johns Hopkins.
- The last time these teams met, the Seawolves fell to the Red Foxes, 11-10, in 2009. The Seawolves last win against Marist came in a 22-11 rout at home in 2008.
- The Seawolves are led offensively by senior Melissa Cook, who has 15 goals on the season, and freshman Alyssa Cardillo, who is ranked 11th in the nation with 12 assists in her first collegiate season.
Vermont at Siena, 3 p.m. -- Live Stats
- Vermont (2-4) looks to get back on the winning track as it heads to Loudonville, N.Y., to take on Siena.The Catamounts hold a 10-1 all-time series lead over the Saints. However, the only Vermont loss in the series happened last season in a 14-11 decision in Burlington.
- Vermont is coming off a tough, 12-11 loss against Quinnipiac. The loss snapped a two-game win streak for the Catamounts.
- Freshman attack Sydney Mas leads the offensive charge for the Catamounts. The freshman paces the team with 17 points on 14 goals and three assists this season. In two games last week, Mas tallied six goals and three assists.
New Hampshire at #12 Vanderbilt, 5 p.m. -- Live Stats | Live Video
- New Hampshire (4-2) looks to extend its three-game winning streak as it continues its four-game road trip at Vanderbilt.
- The Wildcats have scored 40 goals during their current three-game winning streak. The offense had mustered just 17 goals combined through the first three games of the season.
- New Hampshire is just 3-9 all-time against Vanderbilt, falling to the Commodores, 11-7, at home in 2009. The Wildcats' last win against Vandy came in 2008 with a 10-7 win in Nashville, Tenn.
- In New Hampshire's last game, an 11-8 win over George Mason, four Wildcats scored two goals apiece. Junior midfeilder Ilana Cohen, the team's scoring leader, also scored two points on one goal and one assist.
