At Vermont 65, Stony Brook 42- Box Score

  • Vermont (19-5, 10-2 America East) delivered an efficient offensive performance, shooting 56.5 percent from the field as a team, to earn the comfortable 65-42 victory over Stony Brook (9-14, 4-7 America East).
  • Sophomore guard Brendan Bald paced the Catamounts on the offensive end, scoring a game-high 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field.
  • Senior forward Evan Fjeld added 14 points, including the 1,000th-point of his career, and four rebounds in the win. Freshman forward Brian Voelkel added four points, a team-high five rebounds and a game-high 10 assists.
  • Sophomore guard Leonard Hayes led the way for Stony Brook, scoring a team-high 12 points and grabbing three rebounds.

UMBC 84, At Maine 79- Box Score

  • UMBC (5-19, 4-7 America East) rallied from a 14-point second half deficit to pull out the thrilling 84-79 win at Maine (14-9, 8-3 America East).
  • Junior guard Chris De La Rosa delivered an outstanding performance, scoring a team-high 24 points, dishing out a game-high 13 assists and grabbing six boards in the win.
  • Graduate student forward Justin Fry netted a career-high 20 points on 9-of-10 shooting from the field.
  • The Black Bears were led by junior guard Gerald McLemore, who scored 24 points, including 5-of-10 shooting from behind the arc.
  • Senior forward Troy Barnies added 14 points and 11 rebounds for the double-double.
