Albany (11-14, 4-6 AE) hosts Hartford (7-15, 4-5 AE) Saturday in the Big Purple Growl, its annual winter homecoming.
- Hartford, which has dropped three straight, has won three in a row against Albany.
- The Hawks shot just 29.5 percent in Thursday's loss to Vermont and are averaging only 44.3 points during its losing skid.
- Hartford ranks 15th nationally in 3-point field goals per game (8.4), 18th in turnover margin (+3.5) and also leads America East in steals (8.1 spg).
- Albany shot just 33 percent and committed 17 turnovers in a loss at UNH Thursday, its second straight.
- Senior Tim Ambrose scored 15 points and (16.4 ppg) and sophomore Logan Aronhalt (15.0 ppg) rank third and fifth, respectively, among the league's scoring leaders. The 31.4 combined points ranks second among tandems.
- Albany leads America East shooting 37.1 percent as a team from three-point territory.

New Hampshire (10-12, 4-6 AE) goes for its second straight win when it travels to Binghamton (6-17, 3-7 AE) Saturday.
- UNH turned 17 Albany turnovers into 19 points and won for the second time in three games Wednesday.
- Senior Dane DiLiegro tallied his fourth double-double of the season (12 points, 11 rebounds) while junior Brian Benson had 14 boards and six blocks. The tandem ranks second and third, respectively, among the league's rebounding leaders.
- UNH ranks 29th nationally, holding opponents to 60.8 points per game.
- Head coach Bill Herrion is the league's active wins leader in conference play with 141 career victories.
- Binghamton, which has dropped seven straight games, dropped a heartbreaker at UMBC Thursday, falling 83-79 in overtime.
- Senior Moussa Camara scored 20 points and made 6-of-9 three-point attempts.
- Senior Mahamoud Jabbi tallied his fifth straight double-double (12 points, 10 rebounds) and added five blocks. He ranks eighth among America East leaders in conference play in scoring (13.3 ppg), third in rebounding (9.4 rpg) and first in blocks (2.4 bpg).

Junior guard Darryl Partin scored a game-high 19
points to lead Boston University (12-13, 7-4 AE) to just its second road win of the season Friday.
- The
Terriers, who have won back-to-back games for the first time in three
weeks, shot 57.1 percent from the floor in the second half while holding
Stony Brook (9-13, 4-6 AE) to 31 percent after the break.

Partin shot 7-of-14 from the field, including
2-of-5 from behind the arc, and dished our four assists in 33 minutes.

seven rebounds, while junior forward Patrick Hazel scored 12 points and grabbed
