Vermont 61, At Hartford 47- Box Score

  • Freshman guard Sandro Carissimo scored a career-high 14 points to lead Vermont (18-5, 9-2 America East) to an important 61-47 road victory at Hartford (7-15, 4-5 America East).
  • The Catamouns controlled the game defensively, limiting Hartford to only 29.5 percent shooting from the field.
  • Vermont freshman forward Brian Voelkel added eight points, a game-high 12 rebounds and a game-high five assists in the win.
  • Hartford was led by sophomore guard/forward Ross Erickson, who scored nine points on 3-of-4 shooting from the field.

At UMBC 83, Binghamton 79 (OT)- Box Score

  • UMBC (4-19, 3-7 America East) hit 12-of-23 attempts from behind the three-point line to pick up the thrilling 83-79 (OT) victory over Binghamton (6-17, 3-7 America East).
  • Sophomore guard Brian Neller scored a game-high 21 points, including 5-of-10 shooting from behind the arc, to lead the Retrievers to the win.
  • Junior guard Chris De La Rosa added 10 points, a game-high eight assists and six rebounds. Graduate student guard Travis King came off the bench to add 17 points and five rebounds.
  • The Bearcats were led by senior forward Moussa Camara, who scored 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field.
  • Senior forward Mahamoud Jabbi added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the double-double.
