BALTIMORE -- A rematch of the 2009 men's basketball league title game takes place Thursday on America East television as Binghamton visits UMBC. The Bearcats, who have won five straight in the series, won that game, 61-51 for their first conference title.
The Retrievers and Bearcats will tip off at 7:30 p.m. from the Retrievers Activities Center. The contest will be televised
on MASN for those in the Mid-Atlantic region and on Time Warner Sporst for fans in New York's Southern Tier. Eric Frede
(play-by-play) and Frank Sullivan (analyst) will have the call. All season
long, games will also be available for viewing to ESPN Full Court
subscribers, ESPN3.com (subject to local blackout) and for free at AmericaEast.com.

- Binghamton (6-16, 3-6 AE) goes for its sixth straight over UMBC (3-19, 2-7 AE) when the two teams meet on MASN and Time Warner Sports Thursday.
- Both teams are trying to snap losing streaks with Binghamton's at six straight and UMBC having losing three in a row.
- UMBC led by three with just over eight minutes remaining in Monday's game at Stony Brook, but allowed the SBU to close the game on a 16-3 run.

- Senior Mahamoud Jabbi recorded his fourth straight double-double (19 points, 10 rebounds). He ranks ninth among America East leaders in conference play in scoring (13.3 ppg), third in rebounding (9.3 rpg) and second in blocks (2.1 bpg).
- Senior Jimmy Gray recorded his first career-double with a 10-point, 12-assist performance. The 12 assists are the most in America East this season.

- Vermont (17-5, 8-2 AE) won the first meeting this season between these teams when it beat Hartford (7-14, 4-4 AE), 72-51, in Burlington, Vt., January 25.
- The Catamounts shot 49.0 percent from the floor their last time out while holding New Hampshire to 33.9 percent from the field and just 16.7 percent (4-for-24) from long range in a 63-49 win.
- Senior guard Joey Accaoui shot 7-for-10 from the floor against the Wildcats on his way to a game-high 15 points.
- Freshman forward Brian Voelkel added 11 points to go along with seven rebounds, three assists and three steals. Voelkel leads America East in rebounding (9.9 rpg) and assist-to-turnover ratio (2.3-to-1).
- Hartford was outscored by Stony Brook, 41-15, in the second half Saturday and fell for the third time in four games.
- Senior Milton Burton had a team-high 10 points. He leads America East and ranks 15th nationally with 2.4 steals per game.
