Every
gameday throughout the 2011 season, America East will provide a women's
lacrosse update that previews the day's matchups as well as recaps the
previous day's action. The update will also provide links to live
coverage, box scores and highlights of select games. Fans can also

Albany at No. 16 Penn State, 1 p.m. -- Live Stats
- Albany looks to build off its impressive, 18-2, season-opening victory when it visits No. 16 Penn State.
- Senior attack Taylor Frink and senior midfielder Mel Rorie each netted a career-high five goals in the win.
- In her
debut, freshman goalkeeper Anna Berman made seven saves. Freshman
defender Ariana Parker scored two goals and caused four turnovers.
UMBC at American, 1 p.m.
- UMBC looks to bounce back from its first loss of the season when it closes out a two-game road trip against American.
- The
Retrievers were unable to overcome an early six-goal deficit, as they
fell, 16-6, to No. 17 Florida in the opening game of the road trip.
Junior midfielder Alicia Krause led UMBC with a team-high two goals.
- Freshman midfielder Kristin Bilney netted the first goal of her career and also earned a draw control in the loss.
New Hampshire at Dartmouth, 2 p.m. -- Live Stats | Live Video
- New Hampshire hopes to finish off its two-game road trip with an undefeated record when it visits intrastate rival Dartmouth.
- The
Wildcats opened the season with an impressive 8-5 victory at Holy Cross.
Sophomore goalkeeper Kathleen O’Keefe was excellent in net, making six
saves in the win.
- Junior
midfielder Kate Keagins scored a team-high three goals in the
season-opener, while junior midfielder Ilana Cohen scored two goals and
caused two turnovers.

at Connecticut 11, Binghamton 9 -- Box Score
- Binghamton (0-2) surrendered a 5-0 run in the first half and a 4-0 run in the second half at Connecticut.
- UConn outshot the Bearcats, 28-21. The Huskies put 25 shots on net while Binghamton mustered just 14 shots on goal.
- Binghamton senior keeper Lauren Scott made 14 saves in the loss.
- Senior
defender Beth Moore led the Bearcats' offensive attack with three goals
on just three shot attempts. Junior attack Lis Zuern added two goals to
go along with a pair of assists.
- Attackers Kimberley McGeever and Ali Castiglie each added a pair of goals.
