Boston University 53, at Binghamton 51- Box Score

  • Boston University (17-13, 11-4 America East) used a stifling defensive performance, limiting Binghamton (7-21, 4-11 America East) to only 36.5 percent shooting from the field, to earn a tough 53-51 road win.
  • With the victory, the Terriers clinched the No. 2 seed in the upcoming America East conference tournament.
  • Freshman guard D.J. Irving led the way for Boston U., netting a team-high 14 points on 5-of-12 shooting.
  • Binghamton senior guard Greer Wright netted a game-high 18 points, grabbed four boards and dished out four assists.
  • Senior forward Moussa Camara added 13 points, while senior forward Mahamoud Jabbi scored six points and pulled down 11 rebounds in the loss.
