*at UMBC 62, Albany 55 -- Box Score

  • With a win and a Boston University loss, UMBC (19-10, 13-3 AE) locked up the America East regular-season championship as well as the top seed in the upcoming America East championship tournament.
  • The Retrievers hit 7-of-8 free throws in the final minute to seal the win. UMBC shot 22-for-29 from the charity stripe for the game.
  • UMBC shot 41.5 percent from the floor while holding Albany (15-13, 8-7 AE) to just 28.3 percent field-goal shooting.
  • Albany forced 24 Retriever turnovers but scored just 12 points off those turnovers.
  • UMBC was led by senior forward Meghan Colabella, who scored a team-high 17 points on 5-for-7 shooting. Junior forward Erin Brown notched a double-double with 16 points, and 12 rebounds. Junior guard Michelle Kurowski added 10 points and eight boards.
  • Albany sophomore guard Ebone Henry was the only Great Dane to reach double figures in scoring as she dropped 21 points, 11 of which came from the free throw line.


*at Binghamton 59, Boston U. 53 -- Box Score

  • Binghamton (18-10, 11-4 AE) held Boston U. (14-13, 11-4 AE) to 33.9 percent shooting from the field as the Terriers hit just 21-of-62 shots from the floor. The Bearcats shot a .418 clip.
  • Binghamton outrebounded the Terriers, 42-32, holding a 10-8 advantage on the offensive glass.
  • Junior forward Viive Rebane recorded a double-double with game-highs of 19 points and 13 rebounds. Junior forward Orla O'Reilly also reached double digits with 10 points.
  • Sophomore forward Kara Elofson pulled down 10 boards to go with nine points while freshman guard Jasbriell Swain added nine points and nine boards for the Bearcats.
  • Junior forward Caroline Stewart led the way for Boston U. with 13 points and eight rebounds. Sophomore guard Chantell Alford also scored 13 points.


*Hartford 67, at Stony Brook 63 -- Box Score

  • Hartford (13-15, 10-5 AE) scored 23 bench points in the second half and 37 in the game as the Hawks overcame a 10-point deficit in the second half.
  • The Hawks shot 20-for-48 from the field for the game, including 8-for-19 from long range, and 19-for-24 from the free throw line.
  • Stony Brook (5-22, 2-13 AE) 25-for-46 from the field, good for a .543 clip, but hit only two three-pointers.
  • The Seawolves outrebounded the Hawks, 32-22.
  • Sophomore forward Nikkia Smith scored 13 points off the bench while senior guard Mary Silvia also came off the bench to add 11 points. Sophomore guard Daphne Elliott scored 12 points and senior guard Jackie Smith added 10 points and a team-high five assists.
  • Senior forward Kirsten Jeter led the Seawolves with 13 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Junior center Destiny Jacobs and sophomore guard Sam Landers each added 13 points and five rebounds while junior forward Whitney Davis scored 12 points.  


*at New Hampshire 57, Maine 40 -- Box Score

  • New Hampshire (9-18, 6-9 AE) held Maine (4-23, 2-13 AE) to 28.3 percent shooting from the floor as the Black Bears hit just 15-of-53 field-goal attempts.
  • The Wildcats outrebounded the Black Bears, 43-32, and held a 14-9 edge on the offensive boards.
  • New Hampshire recorded 15 assists on 24 made baskets.
  • Senior center Jill McDonald and junior guard Lauren Wells each scored 10 points to lead the Wildcats. Junior forward Denise Beliveau added nine points a game-high 12 rebounds.
  • Sophomore guard Katelyn Vanderhoff was the only Black Bear to crack double digits as she scored 12 points on 5-for-13 shooting.
