  • The Terriers are still in the hunt for the regular season championship and the number one seed despite falling out of first place last week. They will need a  win to keep that hope alive and complete the season sweep of the Bearcats.
  • Binghamton, who still has a chance for seeding as high as second, still is among the best defenses in the country, ranked 20th in Division I with a scoring defense of 54.5 ppg.
  • Boston U. sophomore Mo Moran has reached double-figure assist totals three times this season including last Sunday against Stony Brook (10 assists),

*Albany at UMBC    7 p.m. l Live Stats l Live Video l

  • The Retrievers have won five straight games and have a chance to clinch at least a share of the regular season title tonight with a win. A win and a Boston U. loss would give UMBC the title, its first-ever, outright.
  • Albany has already locked into the fourth or fifth seed but is looking to build upon its Division I program-best 15 wins this season.
  • UMBC has won three-straight against Albany, including a 59-53 come-from-behind victory at SEFCU Arena earlier this season.

  • Last time the Hawks and Seawolves met, Hartford pulled out a 67-57 win behind sophomore forward Ruthanne Doherty's game-high 23 points.
  • Doherty leads the Hawks in conference play with averages of 9.9 ppg and 6.8 rpg. She has three double-doubles this year, all against league foes.
  • The Seawolves have two players in America East's top 10 in assists for conference games only. Sophomore Sam Landers has 2.79 apg, while junior Tamiel Murray is dishing out 2.57 apg.

  • The Wildcats picked up a 20-point win, 67-47, in the last meeting with the Black Bears up in Orono. UNH is looking to secure a seed as high as sixth.
  • UNH junior Denise Beliveau is tied for the league led with 10 double-doubles. She is seventh in scoring (13.2 ppg) and third in rebounding (8.5 rpg).
  • Maine freshman Ashleigh Roberts is making her case for Rookie of the Year with 10.9 ppg to lead all conference freshmen.

*at Boston University 72, Stony Brook 68 - Boxscore

  • Boston University rallied from a 14-point first half deficit to secure a key 72-68 home victory over Stony Brook.
  • The Terriers received a boost off the bench from sophomore guard Kristen Sims, who scored a season-high 15 points in 21 minutes of action.
  • Sophomore guard Chantell Alford added 14 points and five rebounds, while junior forward Caroline Stewart scored 12 points and grabbed seven boards.
  • Stony Brook was led by senior forward Kirsten Jeter, as she netted 12 points, pulled down eight rebounds and dished out five assists in the loss.
  • The Seawolves were efficient on the offensive end, shooting 47.2 percent from the field as a team.


*UMBC 53, at Hartford 48 - Boxscore

  • UMBC overcame an eight-point halftime deficit to pull out a key 53-48 road victory over Hartford and remain in first place in the America East standings.
  • The Retrievers were excellent defensively in the second half, limiting Hartford to only 24 percent shooting from the field.
  • Junior guard Erin Brown played a key role in the rally, scoring a game-high 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting.
  • Senior guard Michele Brokans added a career-high 11 points and six assists in all 40 minutes of action.
  • The Hawks were led by sophomore forward Ruthanne Doherty, who scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the double-double.


*at Maine 65, Vermont 56 - Boxscore

  • Sophomore guard Katelyn Vanderhoff scored a game-high 17 points and grabbed a team-high nine boards to lead Maine to a 65-56 win over Vermont.
  • Along with her 17 points, Vanderhoff also dished out a team-high four assists and swiped a game-high six steals.
  • Sophomore guard Amber Smith added eight points and seven rebounds in 28 minutes of action.
  • Sophomore forward/center Lauren Buschmann led the way for the Catamounts, scoring a team-high 15 points and grabbing a game-high 10 boards.


*Binghamton 41, at Albany 40 - Boxscore

  • Freshman forward Jasbriell Swain scored seven points and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds to lead Binghamton to a thrilling 41-40 win at Albany.
  • Junior forward Viive Rebane controlled the paint for the Bearcats, scoring eight points and pulling down 13 boards in the win.
  • Although she struggled with her shot, junior guard Andrea Holmes netted a team-high 13 points in 38 minutes of action.
  • The Great Danes were led by sophomore guard/forward Ebone Henry, who scored 11 points and pulled down seven rebounds.
