Cambridge, Mass.-- The National Field Hockey Coaches' Association (NFHCA) honored five America East field hockey teams on Tuesday, February 22 with the 2010 Gladiator by SGI Division I National Academic Team Award.
Boston University, Fairfield University, University of Maine, University of New Hampshire and University of Vermont each garnered the team award. The
National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that have achieved a
Team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the first semester of the 2010-11 academic
year.
The NFHCA recognized 57 Division I teams in all.
