  • The Terriers, who are looking to break a three-game skid, won the last meeting, 82-57. Sophomore Chantell Alford finished with a game-high 24 points in that game along with six boards and five steals.
  • Boston U. leads the league with 62.9 ppg, while Stony Brook is second with 59.5 ppg.
  • Stony Brook junior Destiny Jacobs, who has 8.8 ppg and a team-high 7.3 rpg this season, reached 500 career points last time out against Albany.

  • The January 20 meeting between the Retrievers and Hawks was a double overtime thriller in Baltimore which UMBC won, 67-60. UMBC has never swept the regular season series with Hartford since joining the league.
  • UMBC juniors Michelle Kurowski (15.0 ppg) and Erin Brown (13.9 ppg) rank first and sixth in the conference in scoring.
  • Hartford uses a tough perimeter defense, ranked 33rd in Division I with teams shooting just .281 from outside the arc against the Hawks.

  • The Catamounts secure a 57-48 victory when these teams last met last month. Vermont sophomore Lauren Buschmann tallied 14 points, eight boards, three assists and four blocks against the Black Bears.
  • Vermont sophomore Kristine Lalonde has 4.6 assists per game over the last five contests, and ranks sixth in America East with 3.4 apg on the season.
  • Maine freshman Ashleigh Roberts is the highest-scoring rookie in the league this year with 11.0 ppg. She's also averaging 4.4 rpg, 6.1 rpg in league play.

  • Binghamton captured a 50-44 win against Albany on January 20 and will look for the season sweep.
  • With a win, the Great Danes would clinch their first winning record since joining the America East Conference. Albany has already set the program Division I record with 15 wins this season.
  • The Bearcats rank 28th in the nation with a scoring defense of 55.1 and 26th with a field-goal percentage defense of 35.5.

*at UMBC 62, Boston University 52 - Boxscore
  • UMBC moved into first place in the America East conference standings with an impressive 62-52 home victory over Boston U.
  • Junior forward Erin Brown led the way for the Retrievers, scoring a game-high 18 points and pulling down a team-high 11 rebounds for the double-double. Junior center Tope Obajolu added 17 points and six rebounds.
  • The Retrievers were excellent on the defensive end, limiting Boston University to only 32.2 percent shooting from the field.
  • Boston U. was led by junior forward Caroline Stewart, who scored 16 points and grabbed six boards. Junior guard Alex Young added 13 points.

*at Vermont 58, New Hampshire 47 - Boxscore

  • Vermont used a dominant defensive performance, limiting New Hampshire to only 30.8 percent shooting from the field, to secure the 58-47 win.
  • The Catamounts were led by sophomore forward/center Lauren Buschmann, who scored 23 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in the win.
  • Freshman guard Sam Simononis added 12 points and seven rebounds to lead UVM.
  • New Hampshire was led by junior forward Denise Beliveau, as she scored eight points and grabbed seven rebounds in the loss.

*at Albany 65, Stony Brook 55 - Boxscore
  • Sophomore guard Ebone Henry netted a game-high 19 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead Albany to the 65-55 home win over Stony Brook.
  • Albany sophomore forward Julie Forster added 14 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the field.
  • The Great Danes were excellent on the defensive end, limiting Stony Brook to only 33.9 percent shooting.
  • Senior forward Kirsten Jeter scored a team-high 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Seawolves.

*Hartford 55, at Binghamton 37 - Boxscore
  • Hartford used a stifling defensive performance, limiting Binghamton to 24.4 percent shooting from the field, to earn the 55-37 victory.
  • The Hawks were led by senior guard Mary Silvia, who scored a game-high 13 points, including 3-of-6 shooting from behind the arc.
  • Hartford shot the bell extremely well from behind the three-point line, hitting 8-of-18 attempts as a team.
  • Junior forward Viive Rebane scored six points and grabbed a game-high 14 boards for Binghamton.
