UMBC at Boston U., 7:30 p.m.

  • Bosotn U. (14-13, 9-4 AE) tries to avenge last month's loss to UMBC (5-21, 4-9 AE) when the two teams meet at Agganis Arena Tuesday.
  • The Terriers have won four straight games for the first time all season and have held opponents to 47.6 ppg over their last three games.
  • Boston U. used a crucial 18-0 second-half run to upend Hartford Saturday. The Terriers held the Hawks to 35.4 percent shooting.
  • Junior Darryl Partin scored 25 points, the seventh time he's gone over 20 this season, and ranks sixth averaging 16.5 points per game in conference play.
  • Partin and senior John Holland, the league's leading scorer (19.0 ppg), the league's top scoring tandem averaging a combined 35.5 points per game.
  • After starting the season 1-16, UMBC has won four of its last nine games are is averaging 65.6 points per game in conference play, which ranks second.
  • UMBC scored just 10 first half points against New Hampshire Saturday and could not recover en route to its second straight defeat.
  • Freshman Chase Plummer scored a team-high 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting and added seven rebounds off the bench.
  • Junior Chris De La Rosa ranks third among league leaders averaging 16.3 points per game and is seventh nationally with 6.5 assists per game.

  • Albany (13-15, 6-7 AE) started the second half on an 11-2 run to open up a 10-point lead, 34-24, with 13:38 remaining.
  • Albany held Stony Brook (11-15, 6-8 AE) to just 30.9 percent from the floor on 17-of-55 shooting and 22.2 percent from beyond the arc, hitting 4-of-18 attempts.
  • Albany outrebounded the Seawolves, 39-30.
  • The Great Danes hit 11-of-13 free throws while Stony Brook shot 5-of-8 from the charity stripe.
  • Senior guard Tim Ambrose scored a game-high 22 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field and 5-of-5 shooting from the free throw line to lead the Great Danes. Freshman forward Luke Devlin pulled down a game-high 11 boards to go along with eight points.
  • Sophomore guard Leonard Hayes led the Seawolves with 18 points on 7-of-16 shooting from the floor. Junior center Dallis Joyner scored nine points and grabbed six rebounds.
