Boston U. 63, Albany 44 (at MSG) -- Box Score

  • Boston University (13-13, 8-4 AE) shot 45.8 percent from the field and hit 9-of-17 three-pointers while holding Albany (12-15, 5-7 AE) to 34.0 percent shooting from the floor.
  • Boston U. won in Madison Square Garden for the first time since 1959 when it beat UConn in the NCAA tournament.
  • The Terriers shot 10-for-11 from the free throw line. Albany shot 6-for-11 from the charity stripe.
  • Senior guard John Holland scored a game-high 25 points on 8-for-14 shooting from the field and 3-for-4 from long range. Junior guard Daryl Partin added 14 points.
  • Albany senior guard Tim Ambrose scored a team-high 13 points to go along with three steals. Sophomore guard Logan Aronhalt added 12 points and a team-high six boards.


at Hartford 74, Maine 65 -- Box Score

  • Hartford (8-16, 5-6 AE) shot 50.9 percent from the field, connecting on 27-of-53 shot attempts, including 13-of-29 from beyond the arc.
  • Maine (14-10, 8-4 AE) shot 48.0 percent on 24-of-50 field goal shooting.
  • The Hawks outrebounded the Black Bears, 35-25, while holding an 8-3 edge on the offensive glass.
  • Senior guard Joe Zeglinski scored a career-high 33 points while pulling down nine boards and notching four steals. Each of those totals led the Hawks.
  • Maine junior guard Gerald McLemore scored a team-high 18 points on 6-of-14 shooting from the field and 4-of-8 from three-point range.
