Two teams with Ameirca East championship aspirations meet on America East TV when first-place Maine visits preseason favorite Boston U. Tuesday.
The Black Bears and Terriers will tip off at 7:30 p.m. from Case Gym. The contest will be televised
on Comcast SportsNet for those in New England with Eric Frede
(play-by-play) and Frank Sullivan (analyst) on the call. All season
long, games will also be available for viewing to ESPN Full Court
subscribers, ESPN3.com (subject to local blackout) and for free at AmericaEast.com.

- Maine (14-7, 8-1 AE) goes for its eighth straight win and a season sweep of Boston U. (11-13, 5-4 AE) when the two teams meet on Comcast SportsNet Tuesday.
- The Black Bears outscored Binghamton, 45-29, in the second half and overcame a 22-point deficit Saturday to improve to 8-1 in conference play for the first time in program history.
- Junior Gerald McLemore had season-highs of 23 points and seven rebounds. He has notched double figures in all nine league games and is averaging 16 points and 4.7 rebounds against conference foes.
- Maine, which leads America East in scoring (70.0 ppg), has won seven straight and 12 of 14 games. The win streak is its longest win streak since the 1999-2000 season the Black Bears finished 24-7
- The Terriers, who have dropped three of their last five games, shot just 26.9 percent and scored a season-low 48 points in Saturday's loss at UNH.
- Junior Darryl Partin scored a team-high 14 points and has reached double figures in 13 of his last 14 outings.
- Senior John Holland, the league's leading scorer (18.7 ppg) scored 10 and is 13 points shy of becoming the 13th player in America East history to reach the 2,000-point plateau.

- Stony Brook
(9-12, 4-5 AE) trailed UMBC (3-19, 2-7 AE), 56-53, with 8:56 to play,
but rattled off a 16-3 run to close out the game.
- During that
span, the Seawolves held UMBC to just 1-for-12 shooting from the field.
The Retrievers shot 18-for-60 from the field (30.0 percent) for the
game.
- Stony Brook
blocked seven shots on the game. Junior center Dallis Joyner led the
Seawolves with three blocks while adding a game-high 12 rebounds. Six of
Joyner's rebounds came on the offensive end.
- Offensively,
junior guard Bryan Dougher led the Seawolves with 19 points on 6-of-13
shooting from the floor, 5-of-9 from beyond the arc, and 2-for-2 from
the free throw line. Sophomore guard Marcus Rouse and redshirt-freshman
forward Eric McAlister each added a dozen points.
- UMBC
freshman forward Chase Plummer scored 13 points and pulled down 11
boards for his first career double-double. Junior guard Chris De La Rosa
added 12 points and a game-high five assists.

(17-5, 8-2 AE) shot 49.0 percent from the floor while holding New
Hampshire (9-13, 3-7 AE) to 33.9 percent from the field and just 16.7
percent (4-for-24) from long range.
- Sophomore
guard Chandler Rhoads hit a three-pointer to cut Vermont's lead to
three, 52-49, with 7:28 remaining. However, the Wildcats did not score
the rest of the game as Vermont scored the final 11 points.
- New Hampshire outrebounded the Catamounts, 35-31, including 15-7 on the offensive boards.
- Vermont
senior guard Joey Accaoui shot 7-for-10 from the floor on his way to a
game-high 15 points. Freshman forward Brian Voelkel added 11 points to
go along with seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.
- Senior guard
Tyrone Conley led the Wildcats with 12 points while Rhoads added 11
points. Junior forward Brian Benson led the way with 11 rebounds.
