The Stony Brook Seawolves are home for the first time since November 23 for a televised game against local rival Long Island University tonight. The 7p game can be found on local channel 118. Last time the Seawolves were in the friendly confines of Pritchard Gym, they gutted out a 42-40 come-from-behind win over Robert Morris.
Hartford (6-3) picked up a come-from-behind win of its own Wednesday night, fighting back from a 16-point deficit against Hofstra to remain perfect at home this season (4-0) with a 61-59 victory. The Hawks shot 48.3 percent from the floor in the second half to complete the rally. Ruthanne Doherty led the team with 18 points.
Boston U. (4-4) also picked up a win Wednesday night, 59-54 on the road at Yale. It was the Terriers' first win away from Case Gym this season. After pulling out to a 30-14 halftime lead, the Terriers weathered a comeback attempt from the Bulldogs to secure the victory. Senior Caroline Stewart tallied her first double-double of the season with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
In other action tonight, Maine and UMBC also have home games, each hosting Colonial opponents. America East teams are 2-3 against the CAA this year.
