Four America East men's basketball teams hit the floor on New Year's Eve with two squads, Boston University and New Hampshire, playing on TV.

The Terriers play at Quinnipac at 12 p.m. in a game that will be televised throughout the Northeast on NESN and SNY. Boston U. is hoping to snap a five-game losing skid. Darryl Partin leads the Terriers and ranks third in America East and 17th nationally averaging 20.2 points per game.

The Wildcats host Colgate at 1 p.m. That contest will be televised in Massachusetts and New Hampshire on WBIN TV. UNH is the top defensive team in America East, holding foes to just 62.3 points per game and islimiting opponents to 42.9 percent shooting.

Elsewhere Saturday, Hartford takes the floor for the first time in nine days as it travels to La Salle for a 2 p.m. contest. Albany will visit Mount St. Mary's at 3:30 p.m. With a win, the Great Danes (7-6) will take a winning record into conference play for the first time since the 2008-09 season.
