Hartford (8-3) and Albany (6-4) both hit the road this afternoon with three-game win streaks hoping to extend them to four consective wins before the holiday break.
Albany and Canisius will clash on Time Warner Cable this evening at 5:15p in Buffalo. The game will also be available on ESPN3 nationally. The Great Danes have three players averaging double-figure points in junior Ebone Henry (13.9 ppg), senior Cassandra Callaway (12.0 ppg) and junior Julie Forster (10.3 ppg).
The Hawks, who moved up to #15 in the CollegeInsider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll
this week, will play at Richmond Thursday afternoon, less than
six miles away from junior forward Ruthanne Doherty's childhood home.
Last night, New Hampshire picked up its third straight win, and fifth on the road this season, 73-72 in overtime against Wagner. Wildcat newcomer Morgan Frame, a midseason transfer last season who just became eligible last week, played in 41 minutes off the bench scoring 35 points and collecting 12 rebounds.
Stony Brook also earned a win, 65-48 over Morgan State at Pritchard Gym. Reigning Rookie of the Week Kellie Krueger scored a career- and team-high 14 points.
