Two teams who played in postseason tournaments last season - the Patriot League's Navy (NCAA) and the Atlantic 10's Duquesne (WNIT) - are on the docket Tuesday.
UMBC returns to the court after a 10-day layoff during final exams. The Retrievers continue a local rivalry with Navy, a series in which UMBC has won six of the last seven meetings.
The UMBC and Navy game features two defending conference champions. The Retrievers won last year's America East Regular Season Championship - and are the preseason coaches' favorites to win in 2012 - while the Midshipmen are the reigning Patriot League Tournament Champions.
Maine plays its first game since Dec. 11 when it takes on Duquesne in Florida's Gator Holiday Classic. It will be the first-ever meeting between the Black Bears and the Dukes. Maine will play either Charleston Southern or Florida to wrap up the tournament on Wednesday.
