Six Men's Hoops Teams in Action Saturday Highlighted by SBU Playing at MSG

After consecutive days of no men's basketball action for the first time all season, play resumes with six teams in action on Saturday, including Stony Brook playing at the World's Most Famous Arena.

The Seawolves will take on Rutgers at 12 p.m. at Madison Square Garden in the MSG Holiday Festival. The game will be televised on MSG+. Stony Brook is one of the top defensive teams in America East, ranking second by holding opponents to 63.6 points per game.

Also on Saturday, New Hampshire returns home for the first time since Nov. 27 to take on Marist at 1 p.m. Also at 1, Vermont will try to snap a four-game losing skid against Iona. The Catamounts will retire the late Trevor Gaines' No. 45 prior to the game.

Albany will look for its second straight win and fourth in its last five games when it visits Cornell for a 2 p.m. contest. The Great Danes are one of the top scoring teams in the league, averaging 70.6 points per game, which ranks second. Binghamton travels to Hofstra at 4 p.m., its first action in 11 days. America East teams are 4-2 against CAA schools this season. UMBC wraps up the day's action at home against Rider at 7 p.m.
