Boston U. junior guard Chantell Alford scored 23 points to lead the Terriers (6-4) past crosstown rival Boston College 70-62 at Conte Forum Tuesday night. Classmate Mo Moran added 17 points and six helpers.

The win was Boston U.'s first over the Eagles since 1990 and marked the Terriers' third consecutive win, their longest win streak of the season. Boston U. will now take a holiday break before heading to Fordham for its tournament on December 29.

Stony Brook (1-8) returns to the court at Fairleigh Dickinson Wednesday night, the only game of the night around the league. The Seawolves lead the all-time series 2-0.

The Seawolves and Knights have had one common opponent this season in Robert Morris. Stony Brook handed Robert Morris its only loss of the season on Nov. 23 with Dani Klupenger's game-winning three-pointer. FDU fell to Robert Morris last time out 79-50.

After tonight, America East teams are all taking a break and none will return to action until Sat. Dec. 17.
