In the only game of the day Monday, Hartford upended Dartmouth in Hanover 60-42 with stingy second-half defense. The Hawks, paced in scoring by Nikkia Smith's 14 points, allowed just three field goals to Dartmouth in the final 20 minutes of the game.

The victory tied the Hawk's longest winning streak of the season at three games. Hartford is now off until a meeting with Richmond on December 22.

There is again just one game on the schedule Tuesday when Boston U. travels down the road to play Boston College, hoping to avenge last year's season-opening loss to the Eagles 84-65.

America East is 1-1 against the ACC this year. Hartford defeated Boston College on Sat. Dec. 10, with Tuesday marking back-to-back matchups against the America East for the Eagles.

The Terriers are currently in the midst of their longest win streak of the season with two straight wins. Boston U.'s wins last week over Yale and Marist were both victories over top-100 teams, leading to the Terriers' 132-spot leap in this week's RPI Report, the largest jump of any team in the country.

As a conference, America East ranks 10th of 33 leagues in the RPI, improving two places from the previous week. The RPI Report most closely resembles the NCAA RPI used for tournament selections.
