All-session and premium ticket packages for the 2012 America
East Men's & Women's Basketball Championship presented by Newman's Own are
now on sale! Fans can get their tickets online or by calling
860-768-HAWK(4295).
The championship will take place March 1-4 at Chase Arena at
the Reich Family Pavilion on University of Hartford’s campus. For just $75,
fans can get an all-session pass, which includes a chairback seat for all 14 early-round
tournament games, an incredible value of under $6 a ticket.
Premium packages in the Metro Hartford Alliance VIP section
are only $300 and include the best chairback seats in the arena as well as
catered meals and all beverages during every game of the championship. A VIP parking space is also included.
Tournament play gets started with a pair of games, men's
and women's first round contests, on Thursday, March 1. Four women’s
quarterfinal games will follow on Friday, March 2 with the men’s quarterfinals
scheduled for Saturday, March 3. The semifinal tilts will take place Sunday,
March 4 with the women playing first, followed by the men. The highest seeds
remaining in both the men’s and women’s tournament will host its respective
championship game the following weekend.
