The two hottest teams in America East right now are in action on Thursday.

Hartford meets up with its second-straight NCAA Tournament participant Thursday night when it travels to face six-time MAAC Champion Marist. The Hawks are 1-1 against 2011 NCAA Championship participants, including a win last time out against Central Florida.

Hartford entered the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top-25 Poll this week after previously receiving votes. The Hawks are tied with UMBC for 22nd. Their Thursday opponent, Marist, is ranked 12th in the same poll.

Meanwhile, Vermont is in the midst of an eight-game road trip and currently stands at 2-0 through the first two games of the span. The Catamounts square-off with former conference foe Northeastern during the Huskies' midday madness at noon in Matthews Arena.

Catamount junior Shanai Heber leads the conference with 4.0 assists per game after running the point over the last two contests.
