Binghamton & UNH Defeat Ivy Foes

New Hampshire (3-2) and Binghamton (4-2) each knocked off Ivy League opponents on the road Wednesday night behind double-double efforts from their senior standouts. 

UNH senior Denise Beliveau recorded her third double-double of the season with 15 points and 13 rebounds in the Wildcats' 58-53 win over intrastate foe Dartmouth. Beliveau also collected five steals. Joining the senior in double-digit scoring were sophomores Sarah Frankenberg (14 points) and Bridgette McKnight (10 points).

Bearcats Viive Rebane and Jasbriell Swain each netted 17 points, and Rebane also added 13 boards and four helpers. With only one turnover, Rebane improved her league-leading assist-turnover ratio to 1.8 (20 assists to 11 turnovers). Senior Andrea Holmes chipped in 10 points, three helpers and two steals.
