The Black Bears got back to .500 at 3-3 this year with a 73-37 win over Maine Maritime Academy last night at "the Pit." Twelve Maine players got into the game with eleven getting on the scoreboard for a balanced offensive attack. Freshman Courtney Anderson scored a team-high 10 points in 14 minutes. Shareka Maner and Samantha Baranowski eached netted nine points.
Maine shot 46.3 percent for the game, including 55.2 percent in the second half, in front of 1,169 fans. The Black Bears also held MMA to 26.8 percent shooting from the field and 11.1 percent from three-point range.
