New Hampshire is looking for its second straight win over the Greyhounds. The Wildcats won a 61-60 thriller on Tyrone Conley's last second runner two seasons ago. Senior Alvin Abreu, who missed nearly all of last season with a knee injury, scored 15 of his 17 points  in the second half in Monday's 67-64 loss at Boston College. He is averaging 18 points through two games this year.

Boston U. hopes to earn Joe Jones his first win as Terrier head coach when it visits the Big Red. The Terriers dropped their first two games of the season, to Northeastern at home Friday and at Texas in the Legends Classic Sunday. Darryl Partin, the lone first-team all-league selection back this year, is averaging 19.5 points through his first two games, scoring a game-high 25 against the Huskies and adding 14 versus the Longhorns.

Vermont has won two straight after it beat Marist, 84-75, in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off at Mohegan Sun Saturday. The Catamounts, who are holding opponents to a league-best 63 points per game, face Long Island U. today. Four McGlynn and Luke Apfeld each recorded career highs, scoring 22 and 19 points, respectively, in the win over the Red  Foxes.

Binghamton hopes to earn its first win when it faces St. Peter's tonight. Freshman forward Ben Dickinson, the reigning America East Rookie of the Week, scored 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting and added five rebounds in a loss at Fordham Friday. Robert Mansell and Dickinson rank fifth and sixth among the league's scoring leaders, averaging 18.7 and 18.3 points, respectively. They are the also tandem ranked in the top six.
