Hartford Plays Home Opener, Vermont Goes on Road Wednesday

Hartford becomes the fifth America East team to host their first home game of 2011-12 on Wednesday. The Hawks welcome in Mount St. Mary's to Chase Arena, where they were 7-6 a year ago.

Vermont takes to the road again and will travel down I-89 to face Dartmouth. The Catamounts have won seven of the last eight meetings with the Big Green.

Last night, Stony Brook and Albany both fell at Sacred Heart and #5 Syracuse, respectively. Gerardo Suero poured in 31 points for the Great Danes, the most by an Orange opponent at the Carrier Dome since Ryan Whitman had 33 for Cornell on Dec. 3, 2008.
