Binghamton at New Hampshire, 1 p.m. -- Live Stats | Live Video | UNH Radio | Binghamton Radio

  • Binghamton opens America East play Saturday at UNH, which is winless in its first conference games.
  • The Bearcats lead the all-time series 14-5 and have won 10 of the last 12 meetings.
  • UNH led Boston U. 31-23 early in the second half Tuesday but was outscored 38-23 the rest of the way and fell to 0-2 in league play.
  • Senior Tyrone Conley, who became the 28th UNH player in team history to surpass the 1,000 point milestone at Albany Sunday, scored 14 points. Freshman Scott Morris also had 14, a career-high.
  • La Salle scored 23 points off 19 Bearcat turnovers in dealing Binghamton its fourth straight loss Sunday.
  • Senior Greer Wright scored a team-high 20 points and ranks fifth among league leaders with 15.7 ppg.
  • Since joining the league 10 years ago, Binghamton's 81-67 record in league play ranks third over that period of time.
  • UNH head coach Bill Herrion is the league's active wins leader in conference play with 137 career conference victories.

  • Maine and UMBC meet for the 17th time ever in Baltimore Saturday. The two teams have split the previous 16 meetings.
  • The Retrievers, who earned their first win of the season Dec. 30 against Niagara, fell to Stony Brook in their league opener Sunday.
  • Maine fell at home to Hartford Wednesday, just its second loss in seven games. Senior Troy Barnies, the reigning America East Player of the Week, had a team-high 18 points.
  • UMBC Chris De La Rosa has averaged 18.8 points and 6.8 assists over his last six games. He ranks among national assists leaders with 6.4 per game and ranks sixth among America East leaders in scoring (15.2 ppg).
  • The Black Bears are 6-2 when holding teams under 65 points and 1-5 when opponents surpass that total.

  • The Seawolves travel to Cornell for a non-league game Saturday.
  • Stony Brook scored a season-low 49 points in Tuesday's loss at home to Vermont.
  • The defeat was just the Seawolves' second in their last 12 conference games.
  • Marcus Rouse led SBU with a career-best 19 points and is averaging 13.7 ppg over his last four games.
  • Junior guard Bryan Dougher leads America East with 2.9 made three-pointers per game and ranks ninth among scoring leaders (13.8 ppg).

at Vermont 60, Albany 48 -- Box Score

  • Vermont (11-3, 2-0 in America East) converted 19 of its 22 free-throw attempts, outscoring Albany by 15 points from the charity stripe. Albany (8-9, 1-1 AE) went 4-for-10 from the line.
  • In its first two conference games, Vermont has held its opponents to 48.5 points per game and 35.3 percent shooting from the field.
  • The Catamounts outrebounded the Great Danes, 40-28, while grabbing 17 offensive boards.
  • Vermont junior forward Matt Glass and sophomore guard Brendan Bald each scored 13 points. Senior forward Evan Fjeld added 11 points, hitting 7-of-8 free throws, and grabbed seven rebounds.
  • Sophomore guard Logan Aronhalt led the Great Danes with 21 points on 9-of-18 shooting from the field, including 3-of-5 from downtown. Sophomore guard Mike Black scored 13 points and senior Tim Ambrose added 10 points.
