Vermont (11-3, 2-0 in America East) converted 19 of its 22 free-throw attempts, outscoring Albany by 15 points from the charity stripe. Albany (8-9, 1-1 AE) went 4-for-10 from the line.
- In its first two conference games, Vermont has held its opponents to 48.5 points per game and 35.3 percent shooting from the field.
- The Catamounts outrebounded the Great Danes, 40-28, while grabbing 17 offensive boards.
- Vermont junior forward Matt Glass and sophomore guard Brendan Bald each scored 13 points. Senior forward Evan Fjeld added 11 points, hitting 7-of-8 free throws, and grabbed seven rebounds.
- Sophomore guard Logan Aronhalt led the Great Danes with 21 points on 9-of-18 shooting from the field, including 3-of-5 from downtown. Sophomore guard Mike Black scored 13 points and senior Tim Ambrose added 10 points.
