Albany and Vermont, which have combined to win six of the eight conference titles since 2003, meet for the first time this season at Patrick Gym Thursday. The game will be televised in Vermont on WCAXtra.
- Vermont has won 15 of its last 16 games at Patrick Gym but Albany has won three of its last four visits to Burlington.
- The Great Danes, who have already surpassed last season's win total (7), shot 51.6 percent from the field against UNH Sunday to win their league opener for the first time since 2006.
- The Catamounts held Stony Brook to 32.7 percent shooting and won its 10th game of the season Tuesday, their 11th in their last 12 league openers.
- Albany, which is
7-3 over its last 10 games and 8-8 overall, has already surpassed last season's win total (7).
- Vermont senior forward Evan Fjeld ranks third among league leaders in scoring (17.5 ppg) and sixth in rebounding (6.9 rpg).
- Tim Ambrose
ranks second among league leaders averaging 17.6 ppg and is the only
player to reach double figures in every game this season.

The Hawks shot 57.7 percent in the second half and downed Maine in their league opener Wednesday.
- The win, Hartford's second straight overall, snapped an 11-game road losing skid that dated back to last season.
- Hartford's Morgan Sabia scored a game-high 19 points, while teammate Joe Zeglinski added 16 points while
playing all 40 minutes.
