BOSTON, Mass.-- Boston University and Binghamton University have combined to win 11 games in a row entering Wednesday's highly-anticipated America East-Television game at the Terriers' Agganis Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:04 p.m. and will be live on Comcast SportsNet in New England, Time Warner Cable Sports in New York, ESPN Full Court, as well as online for free at ESPN3.com and the America East Zone.
Both the Terriers and the Bearcats, who are each receiving votes in Tuesday's edition of the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Poll, feature a unanimous preseason all-conference selection. Boston U. sophomore guard Chantell Alford, the reigning America East Rookie of the Year, is third in America East with 14.2 ppg. Binghamton junior point guard Andrea Holmes, the 2009 Rookie of the Year, ranks second in the conference with 14.8 ppg this year. Holmes is coming off an overtime win against Vermont on Sunday in which she notched her 1,000th career point.
