at Hartford 59, Boston University 55 -- Box Score

  • Hartford (7-12, 4-2 America East) stormed back from a 16-point second half deficit to pull out a thrilling 59-55 home victory over Boston University (9-12, 4-3 America East).
  • Senior guard Joe Zeglinski scored a game-high 15 points, including a clutch basket to extend the lead with just 24 seconds remaining, and grabbed seven rebounds in the win.
  • The Hawks also received 11 points and six rebounds from senior forward Morgan Sabia.
  • Hartford was stifling on the defensive end in the second half, limiting Boston University to just 6-of-20 shooting from the field.
  • The Terriers were led by freshman guard D.J. Irving, who scored a team-high 13 points and dished out a team-high four assists. Senior guard/forward John Holland added 12 points in the loss.

at Maine 70, Stony Brook 59 -- Box Score

  • Maine (12-7, 6-1 America East) used an efficient offensive performance, shooting 46 percent from the field as a team, to secure the comfortable 70-59 home win over Stony Brook (7-12, 2-5 America East).
  • Senior forward Troy Barnies paced the Black Bears, scoring a team-high 17 points and grabbing four rebounds in 39 minutes of action.
  • Senior guard Terrance Mitchell added 13 points and a team-high seven rebounds, while junior guard Gerald McLemore scored 15 points.
  • Stony Brook sophomore guard Leonard Hayes scored a career-high 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting in the loss.
  • Junior forward Al Rapier scored seven points and grabbed seven rebounds in 18 minutes for the Seawolves.
