WEST HARTFORD, Conn. -- Two of the top teams in the America East standings face off on America East TV when Hartford hosts Boston University Saturday.

The Hawks and Terriers will tip off at 4 p.m. at Chase Arena. The contest will be televised on Comcast SportsNet for those in New England with Dave Weekley (play-by-play) and Frank Sullivan (analyst) on the call. All season long, games will also be available for viewing to ESPN Full Court subscribers and for free at AmericaEast.com.

  • Albany (10-12, 3-4 in America East) opened up a 30-point lead in the first half en route to its largest margin of victory since becoming a Division I program in 1999-2000.
  • The Great Danes held Binghamton (6-13, 3-3 AE) to only 21.1 percent shooting from the field, including 1-of-18 from behind the three-point line. Albany shot 49.1 percent from the field.
  • Senior guard Tim Ambrose scored 14 points, grabbed a team-high seven boards and dished out a team-high five assists in 29 minutes of action. Freshman forward Luke Devlin hit 4-of-7 from behind the arc to score 12 points in the win. Devlin also grabbed five rebounds in 24 minutes of action.
  • Senior forward Mahamoud Jabbi led Binghamton with a team-high 14 points and a game-high 13 rebounds for the double-double.
UMBC 74, at Hartford 70 (2 OT) -- Box Score
  • UMBC (3-16, 2-4 AE) went 3-for-4 from the line in the final 20 seconds of the second overtime period to hold on for a road win against Hartford (6-12, 3-2 AE).
  • The Retriever bench outscored Hartford's bench, 42-11.
  • Brian Neller scored a game-high 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the field, including 6-of-11 from behind the arc. Senior forward Justin Fry added 18 points and 10 rebounds.

  • The Catamounts pressured New Hampshire on the defensive end, limiting the Wildcats to only 30 percent shooting from the field, including 8-of-29 from behind the three-point line.
  • Senior forward Evan Fjeld scored 10 points and added nine rebounds in the win.

  • Boston Univeristy (9-11, 4-2 AE) used a 21-4 run over a 9:27 span in the second half to turn a nine-point deficit into an eight-point lead against Stony Brook (7-11, 2-4 AE).
  • Senior guard John Holland scored a game-high 29 points, 20 in the second half, and added seven rebounds. Holland moved into second place on the all-time Boston U. scoring list with 1,949 career points.
  • The Terriers shot 45.8 percent from the field and 57.1 percent from behind the arc in the second half while holding the Seawolves to 25.9 percent from the field and 9.1 percent from long range after the break.
  • Freshman guard D.J. Irving scored 13 points and dished out six assists. Junior forward Patrick Hazel pulled down a team-high eight rebounds and added six points.
  • Stony Brook was led by junior forward Dallis Joyner with 15 points and six rebounds. Freshman guard Dave Coley scored 13 points while junior guard Bryan Dougher added 12 points.
