UNH's O'Donnell Tabbed NSCAA Scholar All-American

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- University of New Hampshire men's soccer standout Colin O'Donnell, the two-time America East Goalkeeper of the Year in men's soccer, was named an National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Men's College Scholar All-American, the organization announced last week.

O'Donnell, one of 16 first-team Scholar All-America honorees, was also a first-team all-region choice along with teammate Brad Hilton. Joe Corsello, another Wildcat was tabbed second-team All-East, while Stony Brook University's women's soccer standout Debbie Aller was an honorable mention all-region selection on the women's side. All four student-athletes were chosen for accomplishments in the classroom and on the field

A senior goalkeeper, O'Donnell, led the nation in save percentage (.902), ranked second in goal-against average (0.43) and recorded 10 shutouts. He led UNH to a 9-5-6 mark and its first America East Championship game since 1994 despite the fact that the Wildcats ranked last in the conference in scoring offense (0.70 gpg).

O'Donnell, also a two-time America East All-Academic selection, earned first-team Academic All-District recognition from CoSIDA. He carries a 3.37 cumulative GPA in occupational therapy.

Hilton, a junior midfielder with a 3.37 GPA in business administration, earned second-team all-conference accolades after tallying three goals and two assists. He is a two-time America East All-Academic selection. 

Corsello, a senior defender with a 3.74 GPA in environmental engineering, helped lead a back line that ranked second nationally with a 0.49 team GAA. He earned first-team Academic All-District accolades from CoSIDA and was tabbed an America East All-Academic honoree for the second straight season. 

Aller, a senior back, earned America East All-Academic honors for the second straight season and helped the Seawolves earn finish second in the league's regular-season standings.. She has a 3.58 GPA in anthropology/environmental studies.
