- The Catamounts, who have won 16 of their last 17 games at Patrick Gym. hold a 14-4 advantage and have won five straight against the Retrievers, including a 76-59 victory in the America East quarterfinals last season.

The top two scoring defenses in America East collide when the Wildcats and Seawolves face off at Pritchard Gym. UNH leads the league, holding opponents to 61.2 points per game while Stony Brook ranks second (62.5 ppg).

- With a win, Binghamton (6-10, 3-0 AE) can start 4-0 in conference play for the first time since joining America East prior to the 2001-02 season, while Maine (9-7, 3-1 AE), winners in seven of its last nine games, can become the lone 4-1 team with a victory.
- Maine junior Raheem Singleton sank a pair of free throws with 3.6 seconds remaining to give Maine a 66-64 win at Albany Wedneday.
