  • Vermont swept last year's series with Stony Brook and has taken each of the last six meetings. The Catamounts are 22-7 all-time against the Seawolves.
  • Stony Brook junior forward Destiny Jacobs has continued to have her best career year with 8.9 ppg and 8.2 rpg. She also ranks eighth in the conference with .711 field goal shooting.
  • Vermont sophomore Lauren Wheeler, who had a career day last time out against Boston U., is tied for first in league play with 4.5 apg.

  • The Bearcats have the advantage in this all-time series, 12-4, having won four straight meeting and seven of the last eight.
  • UMBC senior forward Meghan Colabella is just six rebounds shy of reaching 500 for her career. She is averaging 4.7 rpg this season.
  • Bearcat senior Jackie Ward has had back-to-back 10-point performances from off the bench since returning from an injury.

  • Hartford has won 16 straight against New Hampshire. The last win for the Wildcats against the Hawks came in the 2002-03 season.
  • In league games, the Hawks have a conference-high .433 field-goal percentage and a league-best .404 from three-point range.
  • UNH junior forward Denise Beliveau is nearly averaging a double double against America East foes with 14.3 ppg and 9.3 rpg.

  • Maine and Albany split last year's season series, however the Black Bears lead the all-time series, 16-5.
  • This game is a return to Orono for Albany head coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson who was an assistant there from 1992-94.
  • Maine rookie Ashleigh Roberts has 14.7 ppg in America East games and has scored in twin figures for seven straight games.

*at Maine 60, UMBC 57 - Boxscore

  • Maine pulled out a thrilling home victory, as senior guard Tanna Ross hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to give the Black Bears a 60-57 win over UMBC.
  • Freshman guard Ashleigh Roberts scored a team-high 14 points and grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds for her first career double double.
  • Maine junior guard Katelyn Vanderhoff nearly recorded a triple-double, scoring 12 points, dishing out a game-high eight assists and pulling down seven boards.
  • UMBC was led by junior guard Michelle Kurowski, who scored 14 points and grabbed a team-high 12 boards in the loss.


*Boston University 56, at Vermont 43 - Boxscore

  • Junior forward Caroline Stewart scored a game-high 16 points and grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds to lead Boston University.
  • Sophomore guard Chantell Alford added 11 points, four boards and a team-high three assists in the win.
  • Sophomore guard/forward Lauren Wheeler scored a team-high 15 points and pulled down a team-high nine boards for the Catamounts.
  • Vermont received a strong performance from sophomore forward/center Lauren Buschmann, who scored 11 points and grabbed five rebounds.

*at Binghamton 72, New Hampshire 60 - Boxscore

  • An outstanding performance from junior guard Andrea Holmes, who scored a game-high 24 points and dished out a team-high five assists, helped lead Binghamton to a 72-60 win over New Hampshire.
  • Sophomore forward Kara Elofson scored 10 points and grabbed a team-high nine boards for the Bearcats.
  • New Hampshire was led by sophomore guard Cari Reed, who scored 14 points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.
  • Junior forward Denise Beliveau added 14 points and five boards for the Wildcats.

Saturday, January 8
*Albany 46, at Hartford 43 - Boxscore

  • After trailing by as many as 13, Hartford tied the game up at 41-41 before Albany's Casssandra Callaway put the Hawks away with a huge three-pointer. It was the Great Danes' first win over Hartford since 2005, and it snapped the Hawk's 21-game regular season conference win streak.
  • Albany held Hartford to .315 shooting from the field and just .250 from beyond the three-point line.
  • Junior guard Felicia Johnson led the Great Danes with 16 points on 7-of-18 shooting. Callaway added 12 points, a career-high eight rebounds, and four steals.
  • Hartford was led by a double-double from sophomore forward Ruthanne Doherty, who scored 12 points and pulled down a team-high 12 rebounds. Sophomore guard Daphne Elliott also added 12 points.
