No. 6 Boston College 1, at Boston U. 0 -- Box Score | Video Highlights
Boston University (2-3-0) gave up a second half goal as they lost to No. 6 Boston College (3-0-1) at Nickerson Field Saturday.
Eagles sophomore midfielder Kristie Mewis scored her second goal of the season in the 64th minute off a pass from senior back Hannah Cerrone. The goal gave Boston College a 1-0 lead, a lead they held the remainder of the game.
Today's match was the third for the Terrier women against a ranked opponent this season. Boston U. has lost to each of these opponents by a single goal.
The Terriers had only two shots on goal in the match, one by junior midfielder Brittany Heist, the other from junior back Lina Cords.

Sacred Heart at Maine, 1 p.m. -- Live Stats | Live Video
The University of Maine is set to face Sacred Heart in its 2010 home opener. The Black Bears will be looking to end their three-game losing streak.
After kicking off its season with a victory over Iona, Maine has lost three straight games, including a 3-1 setback against The Citadel. In the loss to The Citadel, the Black Bears were unable to overcome a 2-0 halftime deficit. Senior forward Kelsey Wilson cut the deficit to 2-1 with her goal in the 82nd minute, but The Citadel responded almost immediately to secure the 3-1 victory.
After the visit from Sacred Heart, Maine will have a week off before a road game against Rhode Island.
Columbia at Hartford, 1 p.m.-- Live Stats | Live Video
Hartford will be looking to close out the Hartford Hawks Soccer Weekend on a positive note when it faces Columbia. The Hawks will be looking to put an end to their two-game losing streak.
In the opening game of the Hartford Hawks Soccer Weekend, the Hawks fell 2-0 in their match up against La Salle. Despite attacking throughout the game, the Hawks were unable to find the back of the net. Junior forward Breeanna Robinson led the attack with three shots in the defeat. Junior goalkeeper Lauren Brodeur played quite well, making four saves in the loss.
The Hawks continue their three-game homestand with a visit from Princeton on September 10.
Harvard at New Hampshire, 1 p.m. -- Live Stats
New Hampshire looks to continue its undefeated start to the 2010 season when they host the Harvard Crimson in Durham, N.H. This is the longest unbeaten start to a season for the program since 1991.
The Wildcats used a three-goal second half to secure the 3-1 victory over Holy Cross on Friday. Junior forward Alyssa Michel gave UNH the lead in the 54th minute with her first goal of the season. After Holy Cross tied the game, the Wildcats rallied with goals from sophomore forward Chelsea Kuss and sophomore forward Drea Nogueira to pull out the win.
Following the visit from Harvard, New Hampshire will head to Amherst, Mass. for an exciting matchup with Massachusetts on Friday.
Delaware at Binghamton, 1 p.m. -- Live Stats | Live Video
After picking up its first one of the season, Binghamton will look to make it two in a row when they host Delaware at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
Although they dominated throughout the game, the Bearcats were only able to get on the scoreboard once. Freshman midfielder Kaitlyn Cook netted the lone goal of the game in the 6th minute of action. Binghamton maintained its aggressive play after the goal, outshooting Delaware St. 22-2 over the course of the game.
Following the match up with Delaware, the Bearcats will play road games at Bucknell (September 8) and Syracuse (September 12).
Stony Brook at No. 10 Maryland, 1 p.m. -- Live Stats
The Stony Brook Seawolves will continue to search for their first win of the season when they travel to College Park, Md. for a match up against No.10 Maryland.
In its most recent game, Stony Brook fell 1-0 against Iona. Both teams struggled to generate any sort of offensive momentum, as the first half ended 0-0. However, Iona took the lead in the 59th minute, when senior forward Merrilynn Esteve gave the Gales the lead. Stony Brook freshman goalkeeper Chelsea Morales turned in another excellent display, making seven saves in the loss.
The Seawolves continue their three-game road trip with a visit to Fairfield, Conn. to face Sacred Heart.
