New Hampshire 1, Fairfield 0 -- Box Score
With the help of an early goal and a suffocating defense, New Hampshire (5-0-2) remained unbeaten, topping Fairfield, 1-0.
The Wildcats got on the board in just the sixth minute of the match. Senior forward Dylan George scored what would eventually prove to be the game-winning goal by putting away a rebound off a saved shot from senior midfielder Marcus Barr. Barr was credited with the assist on the tally.
Neither team scored for the rest of the match. The Stags' inability to score can be credited to senior goalkeeper Colin O'Donnell and a defense that has allowed just three goals all season. O'Donnell saved all five of Fairfield's shots on goal, earning his fourth shutout of the season.
New Hampshire will enter America East play on Saturday with an unbeaten record on the season.
