CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- For the second time in three weeks, Boston University's Lisa Kevorkian (Aracadia, Calif./Moravia/Cal) is America East's women's soccer Player of the Week, while UMBC's Lauren Kadet (Oakville, Ontario/St. Thomas Aquinas) has been named Rookie of the Week. The awards for the week ending Sept. 26 were announced Monday afternoon.

Boston U. has now won 23 of its last 24 matches against America East foes dating back to 2007. Kevorkian, a transfer from Cal, gave her team a lead it would not relinquish on a breakaway in the 20th minute. The goal was her league-leading seventh of the season. Eight more conference games will be played this week, highlighted by Stony Brook's trip to Boston U. in a rematch of the 2008 league championship game.
