Seton Hall 1, Binghamton 0 -- Box Score

In its last non-conference road contest of the season, Binghamton (2-6-0) could not get its offense going, dropping a close match, 1-0, at Seton Hall.

The Pirates scored a single goal in the first half, which proved to be enough to get past the Bearcats. Freshman forward Meghan Hayes put a shot past Binghamton freshman keeper Carrie Martin in the 35th minute to score her first career goal. Hayes was assisted on the score by freshman midfielder Ashley Clarke and sophomore forward Cristina Barthel.

Other than the first-half goal, Martin had a stellar showing. Of the seven Seton Hall shots on goal, Martin saved six. However, the Binghamton offense could not put a goal on the board, getting shut out for the third straight contest. Binghamton took just seven shots, compared to the 27 shots taken by the Pirates. The Bearcats had only three shots on goal.
