Women's Soccer: Boston U. Downs Harvard Thursday

Boston University 3, at Harvard 0 -- Box Score
Three different Terriers found the back of the net as Boston University (4-5-0) overwhelmed Harvard, 3-0, on Thursday.

Junior Jessica Luscinski got her team on the board on a strike in the 20th minute, her third goal of the season. Senior Lisa Kevorkian, the reigning America East Player of the Week, rattled a shot just inside the left post in the 49th minute for her league-leading sixth tally of the season. Senior Brittany Heist added another insurance score with under 10 minutes left off a corner kick. It was her first goal of 2010.

Goalkeepers Kelly King and Alice Binns split the game in net with King making five first-half saves and Binns stopping a pair of shots in the second half.


Fairfield 3, at Stony Brook 0 -- Box Score
Despite outshooting their opponents 15-10 and holding them scoreless for two-thirds of the contest, the Seawolves fell to the Stags Thursday night in a game that was delayed an hour and a half due to lightning.

After 66 minutes of scoreless soccer, Fairfield's Spenser Allaway broke the drought to give her team a 1-0 lead in the 67th minute. Jac Ley added the other two scores, in the 79th and 90th minutes, respectively, to seal the outcome.

Freshman Chelsea Morales made five saves in net for Stony Brook (0-7-1).
