Siena at Albany, 4 p.m. -- Live Stats
The Great Danes will look to close out their four-game homestand on a positive note when they host Siena at Varsity Field.
Albany has lost its last two home games, including a difficult 1-0 loss to Colgate. Both teams played defensive soccer throughout the first half, with neither team attempting a shot on goal over the first 45 minutes. The game began to open up in the second half, as both teams tested the opposing goalkeeper. However, it was Colgate that would break the deadlock, with Mike Reidy scoring in the 79th minute. Despite numerous attempts to tie the game, Albany couldn't get the ball past Colgate goalkeeper Chris Miller. Albany goalkeeper Adrian Foncette was tremendous in defeat, making four saves.
Following the visit from Siena, the Great Danes begin a three-game road trip with a visit to Oneonta, N.Y. for a match up with Hartwick on September 18.
