In the finale of their six-game trip, the Hawks fell, 97-50, against the Gold Coast Blaze. Sophomore forward Ross Erickson (Tulsa,Okla./Jenks/Sisters) led Hartford with a team-high 11 points in the loss. Senior guard/forward Milton Burton (Birmingham,Ala./Fairfield High Prep/Panola College,Texas)  put together a strong individual performance, scoring 10 points, grabbing five boards and dishing out three assists.

The players had little time to rest following their long trip back from Australia, with classes set to begin on August 31. For pictures and stories from the trip to Australia, be sure to check out the Hartford Hawks Basketball Blog.
