GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A total of 39 America East track & field athletes will in the NCAA East Regional Meet this weekend with bids to the national meet on the line. Twenty women and 19 men will compete at North Carolina A&T's Irwin Bell Track Friday, May 27 through Sunday, May 29.
The top five performers in each event and the top three relay teams will automatically qualify for the NCAA national meet, which will take place June 9-11 at University of Oregon. Other competitors will have the opportunity to qualify for at-large positions.
