The America East men's lacrosse playoff picture is clearer after Saturday's action, which saw Binghamton, UMBC and Stony Brook all post victories.

Stony Brook (9-3, AE 4-0) clinched at least a share of the league's regular-season title for the second straight season with a 15-0 win over Albany (3-10, AE 2-2). With the win, the Seawolves also wrapped up the No. 1 seed for the upcoming conference tournament and will host the championship game on May 8 should they reach it.

UMBC (4-7, AE 3-1) downed Vermont (3-11, AE 2-2), 8-7 in overtime, on a goal by senior Maxx Davis with 1:27 left in the extra from to lock up a spot in the championship for the seventh straight season. By virtue of Albany's loss to Stony Brook, the Retrievers all secured the No. 2 seed and will host one semifinal contest on May 5, while the Seawolves will host the other.

Binghamton (4-9, AE 1-3) kept its tournament hopes alive with a 13-12 win at Hartford (3-10, AE 0-4) behind four goals and two assists from freshman Matt Springer. The Bearcats travel to Albany for a crucial contest on May 1.

The Catamounts, Great Danes and Bearcats remain alive for tournament spots heading into the final week of the regular-season, with Vermont and Albany assured of spots with victories.
