Binghamton at Vermont, 12 p.m.
- Despite
just having seven scholarship players in uniform, the Bearcats have
locked up the No. 5 seed for the AE Championship, which matches the
program's highest finish in any season except last year's championship
campaign.
- Binghamton held Hartford to 30 percent shooting Wednesday and won their second straight at the Events Center, where they went 9-3 this season and averaged a league-best 3,669 fans per game.
- Kyrie Sutton scored a career-best 18 points and had eight rebounds, while Greer Wright added a double-double of 16 points and 10 boards.
- Vermont will be the No. 2 seed for the America East Champsionship for the second straight year.
- The Catamounts nearly erased a 20-point deficit with under eight minutes remaining but had their seven-game win streak snapped at Stony Brook Wednesday.
- Evan Fjeld led four 'Cats in double figures with 24 points and is averaging 18.3 points over his last four games.
- Marqus Blakley is five rebounds shy of 1,000 for his career.
Stony Brook at New Hampshire, 1 p.m.
- Stony Brook shot a season-high 54.7 percent and captured its first-ever America East regular-season title by downing Vermont Wednesday.
- The win not only
clinched the regular-season title for the Seawolves, but also gave them
the No. 1 seed for the tournament and are guaranteed a postseason berth.
- Muhammad El-Amin scored 23 points and is averaging a league-best 19.5 ppg in conference games.
- The Seawolves, who wrap up their regular season Sunday at UNH, will play Albany or UMBC in their first tourney contest on March 6.
- UNH can
earn the No. 6 seed for the conference tourney with a win over Stony
Brook, combined with a Hartford loss to Albany Sunday. The Wildcats
have beaten the Seawolves in five of the last six meetings between the
two teams.
- Coming off a last second win at Loyola (Md.) on Feb. 20, the Wildcats shot just 30 percent against UMBC Wednesday and suffered their worst defeat of the season.
- Tyrone Conley, who won the game vs. the Greyhounds on a shot with 0.7 seconds left, had a team-high 17 points against UMBC.
Albany at Hartford, 4 p.m.
- With a
win over Albany Sunday, Hartford will have its first season sweep over
the Great Danes since the 2002-03 season and will lock up the No. 6
seed for the conference championship.
- The Hawks shot only 29.7 percent from the floor at Binghamton Wednesday and dropped their fifth straight decision.
- Joe Zeglinski, who ranks fourth in the league averaging 16.6 points per game, scored 22 points and canned six 3-pointers. His 91 treys this season rank second in the league and are tied for the sixth-most on America East's single-season chart.
- The Great Danes can earn the No. 8 seed for the league tourney with a win at Hartford Sunday.
- Albany shot just 26.7 percent from the floor in the second half en route to being swept by Maine for the first time since the 2003-04 season.
- Logan Aronhalt, who is scoring 8.1 points per game in conference action, tallied a team-high 15 points.
- Albany remains one of the league's better rebounding teams, ranking second in margin (+2.9) after leading the league each of the last two years.

- The Terriers jumped out to a 20-point first half lead to earn their fourth straight win and sixth in their last seven games.
- John Holland led five in twin figures with 23 points and seven rebounds.
- The trio of Tyler Morris, Corey Lowe and Carlos Strong combined for 34 points and 11 assists on their senior day.
- The Terriers have locked up the No. 4 seed and will face No. 5 Binghamton in the quarterfinals. Boston U. swept the Bearcats this season and has won seven of the last nine in the series.
- Maine, which bolters the league's best defense allowing just 61.3 ppg, surrendered their third highest point total of the season in a loss at Boston U. Saturday.
- Gerald McLemore was the lone Black Bear in double figures with 15 points and became just the third America East player ever to hit 100 three-pointers in a season.
- Maine will be the No. 3 seed for the America East Championship, its highest since 2000, and will face either Hartford or New Hampshire in the quarterfinals. The Black Bears were a combined 4-0 against those two teams this season.
