win at Albany Friday, Stony Brook, winner of eight straigh, will have
its seventh 20-win season all-time and fi rst since the 1990-91
campaign.
- The The Seawolves used a 19-3 second-half and eclipsed the 50 percent shooting mark for the third straight game in Saturday's win over Binghamton.
- Reigning America East Player of the Week Muhammad El-Amin continued his torrid stretch and scored 26 points. He is averaging 27.0 points and has shot 58 percent (29-for-50) over his last three games.
- The Great Danes snapped their eight-game losing streak, the program's longest in 54 years,
with a 75-62 win at UMBC Saturday.
- Albany, which is shooting just 38.8 percent from the field in conference play, coverted 52.9 percent of its field goals against the Retrievers.
- Scotty McRae scored a career-high 21 points on 7-of-9 shooting and added nine boards.
- Rookie of the Week Mike Black tallied 15 points and hit 4-of-6 from 3-point land. He is averaging 14.5 ppg over his last four games.
