Saturday, February 13
Hartford at Boston University, 4 p.m. (CSN)

  • John Holland and Corey Lowe became the first Boston U. duo to each score 30 points in the same game in the Terriers' 84-70 win at Hartford on Jan. 9.
  • John Holland, who scored 18 of his 29 points in the second half in a last-second loss to Vermont Tuesday, is averaging 28.8 points and 8.0 rebounds in four career regular-season games against Hartford.
  • Boston U. held a 75-71 lead with under a minute remaining against Vermont Tuesday but had its could not hold on.
  • The Hawks will go for its first win over Boston U. since 2008. Joel Barkers scored 18 points in a 74-60 Hartford loss on Jan. 9.
  • Hartford nearly rallied from a 17-point deficit but shot just 6-of-17 from the free throw line.
  • Joe Zeglinski scored a season-high 29 points and canned seven 3-point tries, including the 288th of his career, which ranks seventh in America East all-time.

Albany at UMBC, 7 p.m.

  •  Albany looks for a season-sweep of UMBC Saturday, which it downed 76-69 on Jan. 17.
  • The Great Danes fell to UNH Tuesday, their eighth straight loss, which is the program's longest losing streak since 1955.
  • Reigning America East Rookie of the Week Mike Black continued his strong play, scoring 14 points and grabbing five rebounds. He is averaging 10.4 ppg over his last nine games.
  • The Retrievers set schools records with 39 made free throws and 53 attempts in winning for the second time in three games.
  • Chauncey Gilliam scored a career-high 26 points and nine rebounds.
  • Chris De La Rosa, the league leader in assists with 5.2 per game, scored 22 points and added four rebounds and five assists with zero turnovers.
Binghamton at Stony Brook, 7 p.m.
  • The Seawolves built a 23 point first half lead and never looked back in winning their sixth straight Wednesday against Maine.
  • Muhammad El-Amin (24 points) and Chris Martin (23) combined to score 47 points and shot 19-of-28 from the field.
  • The win gives SBU its ninth league win, matching its most-ever in America East through just 11 games.
  • Tommy Brenton leads America East with 9.3 rpg. Through his first 54 career games, he has collected 488 boards  (9.0 rpg). 
  • Binghamton held a 10-point lead with just over 12 minutes to play but missed its last five shots and converted just 6-of-15 free throw attempts.
  • Greer Wright and Moussa Camara each scored 13 points to lead the Bearcats, who have dropped back-to-back games since reeling off four straight wins.
  • Mahamoud Jabbi, who ranks third among league leaders with 8.3 rebounds per game in contests against league foes, pulled down 10 boards for the fourth time in six games.
  • Binghamton is the last team to defeat Stony Brook. The Bearcats beat the first-place Seawolves, 64-62, on a Greer Wright 15-foot jumper.
